In addition to the exciting Beatles memorabilia featured at our Lodi sale, other treasures were were not so obvious. We had the opportunity to meet some great estate salers that sent in their finds. The first was what the buyer referred to as a “rescue.” He went on to explain that the spring rockers he discovered in the back yard looked like they “were in jail.” With a quick, same-day spray, he gave the chairs a new home in his own yard and they look quite content to be there!
The second same day project was a lost cast iron lantern. It caught the attention of this estate saler’s keen eye from a distance (see the red arrow below) He took it home, gave it new life with a can of pain that he already had and used it the same night. Look at it now!
